Manaiaklanie Festvial

On wednesday we went to hoys at sylvia park. We did lots of things first put our hats away and go to the hall. We went to the hall there were lots of year 1s there and I did know what to do.

We had to have two little kids to look after. In the bus and movies we liked It In the bus because my two partners were laughing. And when we were walking In we saw different schools.

When we all went Inside the movies everyone was waiting for Mr burt to finished talking. When we all came the lights turned off. It was scary and then Mr burt welcomed everyone.

The first movie was so cool and It was funny. But when It was finished we watched our one for maori haka and everyone was setting karm and watched It. I think It  was pretty cool After all the movies were all finished. everyone hopped onto the bus and went to school.

My partners went to the hall. And I had to go with them to and then. We had our lunch It was a cool day and sunny to.  

Kawau Island

Next week Yr 6 are going to Kawau Island. Activities are going to be kayaking, volleyball, swimming buma trail and wallaby bee hunting. I am looking forward to rock climbing because we get to climb down It thats easy.

Wiremu The Whisper I Heard

One day on spring I was walking around a forest.

I saw lots of bugs and I wanted to see If I can see anything I wanted but there was lots of leaves around the grass so I could not see.

I went back home and grabbed a shovel and I looked through the pile of leaves I was looking all day I went home again and grabbed my bag pack with my touch to see If I can see a hole. So I kept on looking suddenly I saw this hole and I nearly fell through there I turned on my touch and looked inside there I saw a house in a hole thats not right. I went through the hole and It was not that deep I went Inside I was so crook my touch Is out of battery I can not get back up ‘’ Mum mum someone help me’’ But no one heard me lucky there was a pack of lunch to eat. It tastes like mud so I threw It away so I went Inside the house I saw that the door was open so I went In ‘’ Hello anyone here’’ So I went In I saw some sandwiches. Benny went back outside In case someone comes. I heard a whisper ‘’ By father I am going back home’’ Ben said oh no I’ve got to hide so I went to hide in one of the bushed the man walked past lucky he did not see me suddenly he came to check the bushes and see If there Is anyone In there. Ha Is that you benny Its jenny mum finally I was lost I could not climb out of the hole I thought It was a man but It was you can you get me out. Yes so we went back home and gave benny a shower and safely the went and piled up all the hole with leaves and they lived happily ever after.

Atheltics Day

On Thursday morning we had athletics. My first activity was triple jump It was hard I couldn't jump that high we had to hop anthor hop and jump and I came last. My friend hala came first he was pretty good. It looks like It’s easy but It Isn't I was coming first but then another person bet me.

Shot put was next there was a helper he told us instructions about how you throw a shot put. When he’d had finished telling us some people went to Miss Taukrie and I went with Ryan I was first It was heavy and I could not hold It so Ryan helped me and I throwed It rong. So every one said nice try less you have another go. I came 3rd It was my first time so we heard the horn go we said by to Ryan so we went.

High jump Is cool It was teachers for high jump It was miss king and miss qures. After they told us the instructions they split  us into groups I was in the right group and It was easy we only had two chances. I missed my second jump because I tried to do scissors and I hurt my toe so I kept on going so I was in the top 3 and It was hard and I came 2nd. Then we were finished.

Whispering Day

Hi my names henry. Mum can I go for a walk around the paddocks ok take your glum boots. yuck Its muddy wow look at those pens I can see a thing next to the house that were the sheep go into and turn in to meat. Man look at those sheeps they are cute but they aren't going to look that cute when they turn into meat but lucky we get to eat so we can get brainy ‘’mum called out something come back henry’’ ‘’ ok mum’’ back I went.

I went back but and there were no more sheep thats funny they were just here. Henry thought I think something is going on around here hey those things next to the shed was gone might of been some sheep thats gone. So I went in and there was nothing suddenly I saw one sheep that was hiding in the corner and another one so there are sheep there. Gros look at that I’m standing on some slimy hay yuck so I went back outside and that thing next to the shed was there I knew something was going on. But there was no one there this is terrifying It’s busing me around.

Suddenly I heard a whisper I think It was a man saying I’m just go a little bit closer he’s saying lets take some sheep and take them. Oh no but we need it I know I’m going to make up a plan

so i ran back home and said to mum some people in the shed are going to take the sheep. Mum what are we going to do go tell the men that it is awes. Henry ran back to the shed and said to the men leave it alone It’s awes ok little boy. I heard you whispering the men were laughing were your dads friends oh I did not know It’s ok. So I went back home and had a rest.

Finally dads back home he can help me now. Dad said to henry I brought you something what is it A two wheeler motorbike thanks dad. Wow I’m a lucky kid alright you are said henry’s dad. Henry asked his dad can I ride my bike around the paddocks yes son you can yes I’m going to try it out. All the stuff has been done I can do what I won’t now so thats my day finished I’m going to sleep now by.

Floody Day

On one floody day 3 pigs were freezing cold. I was hungry my farm was gone and we were stuck. We were agsasted fursty and we were tired and sleepy it felt like i’m dieing  we had dry throat. finally we’ve been saved by a Resuce Hoilcopter we were free back at awe farm were its nice and cool now that were free we can do eveything now.

Brooks Big Day

Brooks Big Day!!!

It was a  Spring day in October. Brook was eating grass and it was so hot. Brook was glad that Winter was over when she had to rely on her warm winter wool.

Brook was so mad because those sheep dogs were annoying her.

She hated the sheep dogs because they kept on barking at her.

‘’AAAAA’’! screamed Brook. “Those dogs are chasing me how am I going to get out of this.” “Ahh not again stop biting me” yelled Brook. “Oh there giving  me yucky medicine like from last year, I hate that. Someone help me.”

“Oh no I think I am going to die”said Brook. “What's going on the dogs are still barking and I can see lots of wool coming off sheep.” Brook said “I think I remember this from last year. I’m filled with fear I don’t want to get shearn, my life’s going to be doomed.”Brook then thought “Wait a minute I think we done this last year. I don’t care there's no worries I can handle it.”

I’m nearly up I just want to get it over with. It is going to be terrifying getting shearn. But I can handle that Its just going to take a second

but If It takes more than a second like 3 mintes It would be more scary.

 

The Accident

On one sunny day This boy named ben. He was a farmer he went to go check the calves to see if they were alright After that He went to see his friend. Ben was just hanging out with him he was board.

Ben was playing around on his Four Wheeler. Ben was showing off suddenly he saw big muddy patches he slowed down. He asked his friend if he wanted a turn but he said no thank you so ben just keep on riding it.

Ben’s friend shouted out slow down you're going to fast. Bump!!! He fell of his motor bike After that ben’s friend rang the ambulance. Ben’s friend told him the ambulance is going to arrive soon Ben was saying to his friend can you lift this up. Ouch my leg hurts here is the ambulance.

Ben’s mum dad was arriving at the hospital. Ben’s mum said what happened I was riding my four wheeler but then I did not see no bumps so I was going fast. My friend rang the ambulance then they took me.

Hey doctor is my leg broken yes ben said to his mum will I be checking the baby calves still. I don’t know yet maybe when your leg is better. So then It was all over.
